any thoughts on lids??  has'nt set the world on fire,actually he's done pretty much 0000000 . would it be worth swapping him for his buddy newman or perhaps even johncock, [ who has lost 8kg and may even get time in the midfield ]

Johncock won't play in the middle ever. Especially with Bock leaving, they will need someone who can kick properly bringing it out of defence. Greame is the man for this. Always has been, always will be. Hence his good scoring.

As for Deledio vs Newman... one has the potential to average 100 max. with a minimum of about 85. The other has the potential to average 110 max. with the minimum of about 90.

But you could easily have them both.

deledio had a poor first game back in NAB challenge, which is acceptable. The reason why his second NAB challenge match score (DT) was low is because he only played one half.

Don't worry too much about his scores, he'll be firing come round 1.

Premium's pre-season scores shouldn't be taken too seriously. Some prems play normally, which means they dominate the games because they're playing with/against a lot of kids so their scores sometimes get blown out whereas other premiums don't take preseason games seriously at all so they don't try and their scores reflect this.

article in advertiser during the week says that craig and johncock had talked about it last year, which is why he lost the weight. even if he did'nt have the odd run thro the mids, do you still think he could improve his average, as he looks like the go to man [ 86 in dt 101 in sc last year]
