Going for overall win, need some advice!

Hey guys! Going for the overall points here. Have a league where we chuck in 100 bucks each, most overall points takes all.. Happy to explain any selections that appear suspect, also happy to rate other teams! Let me know what ya think

Backs: Goddard, Gibbs, Deledio, Grimes, Everitt, Otten, Stanley (Toy, Lower, Heppell)

Like most, I initially had broughton instead of everitt. But everitt is in form, highly talented, can play anywhere and has great potential taking over eski's role for first half of the year, and concerned about having broughton and grimes - durability!

Centres: Swan, Boyd, Selwood, Goodes, Harris, Swallow (Hibberd, Bewick, smith)

Selwood vs Bartel vs Pendles is the tough one. Goodes is in there to give greater dpp, and give 4 premiums. No montagna because of round 4 bye. Still gives me upgrades to monty and pendles/bartel/ablett, and goodes can always become a forward to give 3 midfield upgrades. Bewick is mature and has good js, hibberd and smith mostly used for dpp cover.

Rucks: Sandi, Cox, Smith, Tippett
Speaks for itself. Smith's body is not ready for 22 games at afl level, so I need cover for 3rd ruck spot just in case

Forwards: Franklin, N Riewoldt, S Johnson, Higgins, Knights, Petrie, Krak (Prestia, Richardson, Matera/Darling/Tapscott)

This is where the strategy comes in. I didn't like petrie because of the games he misses... but I had 100 grand, so i've traded him for mckernan who would have been my last player on the pine. this gives me good cover, for forwards, rucks and midfield. Let me know what ya think, cheers!!

One of the best overall sides i've seen to date, hard to be critical of any of it as you have
explained your reasons for doing certain things very well. Only thing left to do is decide
what your going to spend all that cash on (haha). Very strong, goodluck mate.

pretty good side unc. but you said you dropped broughton ,coz he's injury prone, and yet you've got hidds, petrie, and knights in your forwards !!!!!! imo would prefer broughts to either of those 3
