Yep it's pretty much the same team as everyone else but I've placed an emphasis on players who don't get injured and tried to be unique with Mitchell and Sidebottom, two strong midfielders in winning teams. Going for a league win.

Winning Fanplanner squad in the Dream Team competition coached by stevemoc. Salary cap left: $69,800.

Brendon Goddard, Bryce Gibbs, Corey Enright, Brett Deledio, Paul Duffield, Andy Otten, Michael Coad
Nicholas Duigan, Paul Puopolo, Michael Hibberd

Matthew Boyd, Leigh Montagna, Sam Mitchell, Steele Sidebottom, Andrew Gaff, Jared Polec
Andrew Krakouer, Dyson Heppell, Daniel Harris

Aaron Sandilands, Drew Petrie
Zac Smith, Tom Derickx

Lance Franklin, Adam Goodes, Nick Riewoldt, Matthew Pavlich, Jonathan Brown, Dion Prestia, Brandon Matera
Cameron Richardson, Jack Darling, Isaac Smith

prefer boyd and kennedy?

ok team, little different which is good

no swallow is a massive risk
brown with limited pre season and being only fwd at bris (who will struggle) is also a concern.

brown - knights, petrie - cox?

stevemac

Thanks for the feedback.

Went for Brown because I think he has the potential to dominate against the lesser teams and Brisbane's byes coordinate with byes in DT. I like his averages over recent seasons and apart from last year, he tends to play most games. I am put off by Knights by the amount of games he plays a season.

Despite Petrie being out for Round 1, I think he has heaps of growth in his price level.

I don't subscribe to the hype surrounding first draft picks. They are generally very good players at very high prices. Having said that, I am aware of Swallow's potential and am willing to cop it sweet if he does take off more than Polec, Gaff and Heppell.

Yes I am very strongly considering Kennedy over Jack.

I would definitely go Kennedy over Jack - reckon they'll average about the same but Kennedy's 70K cheaper. Then, like cmgb84 said, if you go Jack to Kennedy you can upgrade Cross to Boyd which i also think would be a good move.

stevemac

Well I'm not that convinced that Kennedy and Jack will average about the same. Kennedy has made one ton in his whole career and Jack made 8 last season.

I feel that if I select Kennedy over Jack, my midfield has 5 rookies, 3 premiums and a cash cow, which feels a little weak.

I would be reluctant to upgrade Cross to Boyd because Cross is a keeper.

Well I did cast a vote but I was looking for "Cross handballs / Jack tags". So that makes my answer "Boyd / Selwood" (who are my 3 and 4).
