shaun atley... game time??

from what i've heard i like about this guy but haven't seen him play. bastinac out, anyone got any recent info on atley, atm he is my 9th mid.

Yes, agree with the last 2 posts.

Internally north are expecting him to play most games, similar to bastinac last year.  Atley is quite quick, and although north have a lot of midfielders coming thru, the likes of ziebel and cunnington are more inside midfielders so north like the fact that atley is also an outside midfielder with pace.  bastinac and greenwood both injured ATM, so that would further Atleys case to play a fair few games especially early on.

Also Atley was expected to go top 10, but slipped thru to pick 17, therefore comes with good pricetag of $108k.  Currently on my midfield bench, and i expect him to be named R1.

My DT, but he cannot kick a footy, so a supercoach no for me. For the same price, I'm watching guys like bewick, c beams and irons, I like them a bit more.

i think its more to do with GC, i personally believe in a normal draft he would have gone top 10 easy. GC took players above him that probably shouldn't have been taken ahead of them, purely because they already had players that play similar roles to atley.  He is locked into my DT team as from all reports he should be the basti of this year and i have him in my SC team aswell but he is i think a beter DTer. Should get the gametime though
