Yarran is crap. Always will be. If he's playing half back then he will get caught holding the ball about 10 times per match.

Yeah he has been going really well, was Carltons best player in their win over Adelaide and he was amongst the best against GWS as well. He has been going really well in his new role.

I was pointing out that Wells kills it every year in preseason, but then doesn't live up to the hype. Yarran will be just the same.

Garlett is value though. He scored 8, 27, 31 and 32 in games last year. Once he eliminates those types of games and scores at least 60 in them, then he will be great. He will have some huge games this year again.

Pre-season counts for little when you are just feeding on smashing weak teams and bing the focal point in your own team while it is weakened. When players are taking on new roles it is VERY important, lets you know how they are handling it. gartlett is a small forward, while he is a small forward those sub 50 scores will continue, so stop feeding everyone shower.
