who would  you take out of Lenny Hayes, Marc Murphy or Sam Mitchell?

Hayes looking good now from injury and always tackles hard, murphy wont get main tag due to judd and mitchell is a jet but worries me when he gets tagged hard he can never break it - 2 scores of 40 this season.

I'd love any and all of those, but I think I'd start with Murphy, take Mitchell second and Lenny third. It might also depend on the structure though - who've I already got from those teams, and who I was looking to replace etc.

cheers mate.
Ive got J Selwood, Gibbs, Haselby, Rich and T Tuck starting. looking to trade Ablett for one of them, with Beams and Anthony on bench.

then with left over coin I will upgrade Raines to Mackie, as I like him with harley coming back and Hodge set to continue to drop.

at the moment without trading im looking at 3 donuts (ablett, houlihan and raines). petrenko looks like getting dropped as well which leaves me no bench in mid or defense! bloody ratten!

So its for Ablett - I reckon Mitchell's your man - he's a quiet achiever. Murph's not far from him, Hayes needs more goals to take the next step up. Yes, I have rethought the earlier order - I think that's about my own balance of Carlton and Hawthorn though.

yeah i was originally planning on holding ablett but the way everything has panned out this week my hand has been forced a bit!

ive still got skippy on the pine up forward and was going to off load him to free some cash but i will now hold (barring any more injuries this week) as i cant afford to waste another trade + ziebell is looking the goods to hold a spot and avg me 70 which im happy with. broughton should be back soon (noticed he is in the WAFL this week) and just banking on Houlihan getting one week penance then returning.

Its tough to let ablett go but 3 weeks and a looming OP waiting to happen... guess its 6 of one and half a dozen the other.

would you hold him and cop up to three 0's this week or bite the bullet? im banking on T Tuck and Haselby producing the goods for a good portion of the season too. I think they have it in them

chris

I'd be going Mitchell especially after looking at thier scores. Murphy is consistent all games 100+ but only one over 110 in the first round 150. Hayes has had one boomer game the other 4 sitting around 100 with 3 below. Mitchell had 2 bad games of 36 and 59 then 4 boomer's of 120+ including 3 around 150

Bite the bullet, get Mitchell, consider whether he's up for Cap'n!

Blueboys

I like Murphy out of them 3. Shame you have to trade Gazza.
I'll keep Gazza and take a donut, so be it!

When the finals start you will want him back in your team for sure!

thatguy

thats fair enough too blueboys, my problem is im looking at 2 other donut in the backline. one i could handle. 2 i would tough out a week, but 3... nope!

Blueboys

For sure (thatguy) swing the changes and keep them donuts to a min.

Pweter

why have you limited it to those 3? Why not Bartel who will step up in Ablett's absence and around the same price as Hayes. Sewell is in superb form and again, similar cost, but he won't get the tag which will go to Mitchell so should be more consistent over time.

Out of the 3 you've listed I'd go Murphy if you're thinking long term as he seems to have found consistency in his game this year.

Blueboys

Pweter he might have Bartel already or out of his price range, maybe?

thatguy

bartel has been getting a heap of it but his efficiency has been down this year. if u look at his scores from last week, DT 144, SC 106.
