Mid: Too strong. There are too many midfield rookies that are guns for 5 premiums.
Ruck: Very weak.
Forward: Strong, but Jack Riewoldt is :(.
Strong forward and midfield; very weak ruck and defence. Equalise them. Currently- 711/1000

Well, I was unsure about Gilbert, but who should I trade for him?  And who should I try to upgrade?

I'd say go down to Broughton, 'Make him a priority for your defence. He will only get better." as said in the prospectus.
That should give you 30k about, still not enough. Also downgrade Didak to Zaharakis or Higgins as Didak will miss the start of the season and will not have much of a pre-season. This'll give you, with Zaharakis, an extra 115k-odd, so then you have 145k in the bank. Use this to upgrade Hale to Darren Jolly. YOu might not have enough money but if not downgrade Jack Riewoldt.
