My thoughts on Gilbert up forward are that i can bring Astbury up forward for an upgrade when the time is right and in doing so leave Gilbert in the backline.

Looks pretty even across all the positions the one thing that sticks out is McEvoy as your second ruck, surely there are better options. How much cash do you have left?

Yeah i see your point grannyboy - still undecided really. Originally had Petrie but started to doubt after the suspension and kangas early bye.

I've heard McEvoy might be on the up this year so i've put him in the preliminary squad. 59,100 left in salary cap, but i've also swapped Hibberd for Heppel which leaves me with 19,100.

But i'm interested to hear your thoughts on the better ruck options available for McEvoy assuming i stick with the original lineup and the 59,100 cap remainder?
