Just thinking, would it be a good idea to get a few players from port since they are the last team to have a bye (round 12) that way you have up to 12 weeks to watch there price go b4 getting rid of them.

i think the only players you could consider would be:

Boak, Hartlett, Kornes, Gray, Pittard, Jacobs (has glange though) or Trengove.

I think Pittard will be a very good player, but watch his NAB cup to see if he can get into the side. Hartlett is a gun, but injuries are killing him, if he can get over them could be one of the best players in the comp.

only two i would consider having from port is k.kornes or boak.

Me neither thats why I'm wondering who would be a good cash cow or a mid priced player that will go up. Hartlett sounds tempting if he is fit.

rookies on your bench, yes...but starting players? most likely not.

Winning teams score a lot better than losing teams and I personally can't see port doing much better than 12th or 13th

Ay Cortez Bank the port dilemma is one I am really struggling with ATM I have Jackson Trengove as my bench Ruck and I haved toyed with Boak, Banner, K.Cornes, Chaplin, Ebert and M.Motlop. Apart from them I can only see failure from Port in 2011 but if you think you need an even balance as I am trying to achieve then 3-4 port players is preferable.

don' know why brogan has'nt been mentioned. has same average as kreuzer,clarke, jamar,goldstein and jacobs and is about the same price. gives away a few free kicks but gets plenty of them and does'nt miss too many games

They don't have many in the way of price rises. Would take Jacobs but he is out and Hartlett i think I'd be too scared to take. What about robbie gray?
