Thinking this could be a better go than having Delids an Enright as i have now , Richmond don't have a buy until round 11 so nothing to worry about for a while anyway .

Bluke

Whats the rest of your defence? Plenty of other options...

God Gibbs Enright/Connors Delids Otten Heppel Puopulo--Coad Toy Duigan

Bluke

big risk with all those rookies.

Duffman or Broughton are good choices, or Adcock and Grimes as mid pricers.

Id thinking about shifting Heppel to your mids for MPP and putting a more established player in his place. ie. one of the above mentioned

Disagree with that. Coad and toy definitely in best 22. Otten absolute star in the mids for adelaide this year. Heppel showing great signs. Can't see anything wrong with that backline.

Chopps

where do coad and toy play? both defence i think there is a little bit of an issue if they do .

McKenna has already quoted that Toy will only play 8-10 games this year and Campbell Brown also came out and said there back 6 are Bock, Krak, Harbrow, Brown, Coad and EITHER Toy/Hunt. So whether McKenna allows Toy to player earlier in the season enough to be a cash cow before the second round comes by in round 9 is just a guessing game but you're more set if you pick Coad over Toy....just for now anyways!!!

His stated that Toy is defnitely in their best 22 however durability will be a factor. Dont think he sad 8-10 though from what I remember but it could have been. think somehting like 13-15.

I like the idea. You would only have 2 missing in Rd 11 and 19

freakcrew

Just thinking Connors might pump out bigger scores than enright !

j959

i think your reasoning is all fine and worth the punt.

same with Coad and Toy and you already know that you're managing their byes and you'll probably off-load one or both at the most opportune moment ...

freakcrew

Exactly 10 rounds is plenty of time to be upgrading another back to cover the tigers bye , reckon its a good plan !

pinochio

also freakcrew when tiges have their bye lids just swaps with a DPP in mids and problem solved :)

...im thinking the same...

grimes or conners you think?? (grimes is stuffing up my rd 5 death round)

freakcrew

Another good point pinochio seems a good go , if your smart with mpp this year this sort of thing will work well !
