memory tester for swans fans

An ex WCE ruckman (only 23 games) has recently started working at my construction site.
I remember tony lockett knocking out an eagles ruckman with a sling tackle (i think at the SCG) around the time this guy played for the eagles (circa 97) and i'm pretty sure it was the same person but can't find any info online to back up my fairly unreliable memory.
don't want to menton his name as i want only people who remember this knock out to reply not people just saying 'yeah i think that was him'.
Who was he?

The only west coast ruck was grgic, but in that game the sling couldn't have been too bad because he played the following week. although grgic only registered 1 HB and 1 HO for the game against Sydney. Considering he was their ruck at the time, seems odd he'd have such a crap game all of a sudden.
