Who would you choose out of those two combos

Montagna and Green for me. But very close, think those two will average maybe 5 points more than Judd and Gilbert.

Judd has more gamebreaking ability in him but Gilbert is untried up forward = unknown. Combined with the Saints defensive mind set, should push Green ahead of him.

Voted Joey and Green. Although agree with Dmac with it being a very close one.

As said above Joey and Green for me. It is possible Judd wil outscore Joey, but not by much and he has a bye in the prelim I think so it turns me off him.

Green is a gun and he isn't getting a lot of attention, while Gilbert is a bit of an unknown.

League or overall?

league means Judd is a risky choice and Green wont get better as he is getting older, plus he is more a DT player IMO. Montagna is a gun and should avg about the same if not more with the return of roo on his long kicks into the forward 50. Gilbert is a bit of tghe unkown but should avg very similar and can play back if he struggles forward so i cant see him going backwards in terms of scoring.

What about Joey and Gilbert?

Tough choice - you're kidding, right?

Nah, easy choice! Montagna & B.Green by a country mile!

Why? - Judd has a bye in fantasy Prelim Final & Gilbert is changing positions - going from back to forward (according to Ross Lyon) this year - there's some uncertainty there for mine.

Compare that to Montagna (proven star scorer in a team that rarely loses) & B. Green (quailty fantasy scorer in an up & coming team - plus, he's been made captain, which could improve his scores/averages)!!

It's a no-brainer mate!!!  ;D

I'm going for overall.

Judd Vs Montagna very even IMO.

As for Gilbert (I'm uncertain of his role this year, but has been proven in the past to get big scores) and Green (consistent, underrated in terms of fantasy teams). So that will make Green a starter in my team and Gilbert a potential upgrade target during the year.
