I'm going with a.swallow, he's got a lot of improvement in him much like North Melbourne.

I'm not convinced that Geelong are necessarily going to go downhill this year, so that's not a reason imo to not pick Bartel.

It is very hard to split the two, both will play close to 22 games and you'd think both will improve. Bartel's got a great history of scoring, but I just like the way A. Swallow goes about it, loves to tackle which means he catches people holding the ball and he also kicks goals.

I would have though Selwood would be number 1. And, is it just me or are teams now less likely to tag the guns (like Judd, Swan and Selwood) in an effort to decrease their output by 10% when they are better off trying to tag a lesser light (like Kade Simpson, Sidebottom or Joel Corey) and decrease their output by 50%?

And to answer your question - I had the same choice and went with Bartel over Swallow. I just love Bartel's game and he is a proven performer over a longer period.

Yeah having Swallow would be more higher scores then Jimmy. Can't go wrong with either though.

Totally agree with this. They are both priced like that for good reason ;).

I'd expect Selwood to get the tag as well as he is more effective on a game than Bartel. Saying this though, we know Bartel's capabilities for fantasy games. He's reliable for a pretty good score more weeks than not.

Swallow though, gets alot of contested possessions (AWESOME for SC) and Tackles. They may not mean alot, but when you get about 5+ each game, they amass quite a bit ;). I love his playing style and I'm almost sold on choosing him in my team so a little biased. But being younger, he has more potential to be able to up his input as he is the Leader of the Kanga's midfield.
