Who should I pick for my last defence spot! I want one of them to occupy the spot, which will be best? I just want one to score 60-75 points a week and play 13-18 games per year.

P.S. Anybody else around that price that I should have instead? I have Coad, Puopolo and Duigan for my other cheap rooks.

i reckon mckernan looked the better of the two judging by his nab cup game... thats just my input :)

mckernan looked great in nab cup... just hope he gets named round 1

There is so much speculation about Taylor Walker and GWS atm that I wouldn't be surprised that come round 10 and Taylor hasn't locked down CHF then Craig will again cast him aside and give the likes of McKernan a full run at it.
Meanwhile McKernans price may only gently improve ahead of this as he (and James Sellar) are the two hot tips around West Lakes to be used as subs.
Talia has been tearing up the training track and the flood of new talent coming through certainly has the 'troops excited'

So Rooster I take that to mean get on Talia at the outset and wait and see with McKernan....
I'm a bit Adelaide risk heavy with Smith and Ottens + at least one of these guys so am curious for more input from the Crows faithful

I say stay away from Talia. As a Souths man (SANFL), he didn't get a great write up and doesn't even look great, McKernan on the other hand does. Easy choice, in my opinion.

McKernan definitely.  Additionally Mzungu from Freo or Kerr from the blues are other bench options and they too are the same price.  Others a little cheaper are Hibberd from the Dons or Wallis from the Dogs both come with big raps!  Hibberd won the VFL best player last year and Wallis was father son and would have been a high top ten pick if not for his dad!  Good fillers as its a probable start for all!
