ive been thinking about this a lot and i think you can? they have 2 byes in the season round 7 and 13 so my 3 bench midfielders are wallis, harris and hibberd (who will be able able to swap to defence for heppel, gibbs, goddard or deledio).

is that enough cover for those 2 rounds so i can keep swan and pendles??

If you think they are going to be 2 od the heaviest scorers, dont hesitiate. Heaps of people getting sucked into two premiums from the same team obviously having a bye in the same round. at the end of the day every team has 2 byes if you get say boyd? or any premium they are still going to have 2 byes. Some will argue you will miss a bye or even two if you upgrade to either Swan or Pendlebury but you will also miss out on 11 weeks of thier scoring. Can you make that up?

Yes.
No different to Montagna/Boyd in Rd 4 or Selwood/Hodge in Rd 6. Maybe even easier to manage IMO as you don't have to find cover for Reiwoldt/Goddard or Chapman/Buddy/Sandilands as well in the same round.

Certainly.
they can be in the same team. They don't have a bye in the finals and really the 2 games are not going to make much difference, in fact it is better than waiting 8 or 14 weeks with a rookie taking their place.

Pendles should step it up this season and Swan should score similarly to last season. I have gone with Pendles/Steele myself, Pendles would be able to score about the same as Swan perhaps a touch less, but he is quite a bit cheaper and I reckon Steel will explode this season.
