Which Swan in the forward line?

McGlynn
ROK
Goodes

BGK

What do you guys think of him in the forward line? He had a pretty good year last year with an average of 85. He is fairly young and his averages haven't varied a lot over the years. Is there improvement in him? Can he play a full season? These are just a few questions i have about him and would appreciate your help.

I want to have a swans player in my forward line and have been tossing up between him, Goodes and ROK. The other 2 are getting on in age and i wonder how long they can score well. We all got burnt by ROK last year and now he is a year older is he worth the risk? Goodes is always going to be good but can he continue to score well.

Thanks

depends a bit on which spot in the fwd line each player is slated for. A straight-up comparison means Goodes will come out on top by a mile.

In a ROK v McGlynn comparison I'd go McGlynn - bit more upside.

I've got McGlynn locked in as my fifth forward at this stage.  Of course a lot depends on how Longmire constructs his mids and forwards, so NAB cup will hopefully give a guide.  If ROK is going to continue as a tagger, then McGlynn should go really well.

goodes will be a jet but not as unique, watch to see how and where mcglynn plays tomorrow.

goodes seems to play better 2nd half of season too

goodes was kept off the ball at chf/f last year until the final 6 rounds or so, then he was moved back onto the ball.  this will be normal for goodes from now on, this way sydney will get extra 1-2 years out of him, eg- micky o.  (he'll play the important games on the ball for next 1-2 yrs imo, but <8 games on-ball p/y +finals)

In sc i see goodes now only as an upgrade option in the final 1/3 of the season at best, i cant see him lifting he average much at chf.

....would be funny if he ends up old and haggard inside the 50.....when he's 50....lets see how far the health-zen-mediatation-yoga-spirit-diet can take him, haha.  (he'll crack 300, probably not 350.....would be goode if he did though)  :-\

None of them; Swans are rubbish at DT
