Captains Rule

Here is what the rules say:

"Your captain scores double points. You can also select a vice captain - your vice captain will score double points ONLY if your captain is a late withdrawal or doesn't play for any reason. You can change your captain and vice captain as often as you like prior to the start of each round. "

Does the 'doesnt play for any reason' mean a bye?? So if you pick a gold coast player as captain in round 1, will your VC get the double points as skipper?

Just making sure you know you can change your captain every week? So it wouldn't really make sense to name a captain that will have a bye that week.. But yeah if your captain doesnt  step on the field for any reason whatsover your VC will score  :)

It will make sense for the lock out week 1. Juddy or Gibbs VC for me with a gold coast player Captain if they score well ;)
