since gaj has gone, both should do well, but which one? i reckon that bartel would be a better choice simply because he is a lot cheaper? is he good enough to be a 3rd midfielder though?

A lot may depend on who they decide to tag - my guess is that will be Selwood which of course will free up Bartel to take on more of the Ablett role.
