I am trying to decide on my 2nd and 3rd midfielder. I have Swan as my first midfielder and have $1,151,600 for the two of them. I am very tempted by Selwood and Hodge but unsure on both of them. Also don't want Judd, Murphy or Watson due to their bye situation. Another option I was thinking of was Swallow and any midfielder. Even Cross, Priddis, Dal Santo ... AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! So many options!

It's out of all midfielders, but I don't mind them choices.

And I just can't sleep, what about you?

Prospector_1

So you still like Cross, Priddis & Dal Santo?

I'll sleep when I'm dead.

benjy251090

I like your thoughts on both :)

I had Cross last year after Barlow went down. Priddis probably not, especially now with Gaff and Kerr. Dal Santo is also a really solid choice and has been for years. Gah, this decision is going to kill me.

Prospector_1

I think it's down to Dal Santo & Cross.

and swallow and hodge, but you can't rule out joey

I know you don't want Hodge, or Joey. I can see that Swallow might still be in the mix?

benjy251090

Do you reckon Swallow will get into the top 10 for mids this season? I am thinking he won't, that is why I am hesitant

Prospector_1

How much do you need from 1 man?

benjy251090

You are more than 1 man, you are a god, well, among us FanFootians :P

Cross is good.  Dal S I believe has reached his zenith and, if anything, is on a downward arc, may lose a point or two on his average this year.

You could look out side the box and look at some other midfielders. Players like Rischitelli will never get taged this year with Ablett in the side. Should push high 100s this year. Sherman yes had a bad year last year but the year before he avg was around 90. New club new team should see him get back to good numbers. Chris Masten in his 4 year this year and let's not forget a top 3 draft pick in 07 this year must be his year to step up. All of these players should get 100 week in week out this year. And there all so cheap and could get you some big scores.
