Suggestion to all:  use m0nty's template (just cut and paste) at the bottom of your fanplanner plan team to post your team.

now your team looks generally solid, but are you sure you aren't overspending?? don't get me wrong, you've got good players but i'm just worried you're missing out on the value picks (fallen premiums, cash cow rookies and cheaps).

guessing you're not worried about overall ranking cos in Rd4 for example, in your backline you're not going to have Godds, Gilbert or Cripps available to play.

on the expense issue - your midfield is STRONG - but maybe you can have GAJ as an upgrade target like i'm guessing 80-90% of the DT world will be considering. it is highly likely that GAJs scores will drop initially as he won't have the 'cover' of other experienced players around him at GC. just something to consider.

on the overall scores again, Rd6 in your fwd line - you won't have Chappy, Franklin or I Smith available, meaning you'll be relying on your other 2 benchies playing and have no other outs from your fwd line to avoid a doughnut.

Yeah cover is by far your biggest issue here. I personally would be dropping GAJ, to someone in the 400k range, banking that cash and upgrading Darling.

value picks (fallen premiums, cash cow rookies and cheaps) - ive done  a little bit of research on rookies etc but not 100% sure on other fallen premiums and good buys.   any suggestions? 

also with GAJ - i thought him being the vital target in the midfield and probably the best player in the team, he would clean up with possessions ? or do you think he will be way tagged out of the game?

as for missing players in rounds 4 and 6 etc, didnt even think of that? but wouldnt we all have this issue throughout the whole season?  or do u think have a mix of each team in fwds/mids/backs is the way to go?

seriously though, have a look in the "Players & Trades" section and also have a look at what people suggest to others here in the "Rate my team" bit.

no one can say for sure and that's why most will look to upgrade to him later in the season. also don't know GC general playing style either, whether gonna be high possession footy.

byes are new this season but heaps of discussion here and other sites to help you but you've already stated the basic idea of how to deal with it.
