Considering the MPP is only effective when you have one in every line where is the best spot for them?

For example

Goodard MID or DEF
Gibbs MID or DEF
Chappy FWD or MID
Didak FWD or MID

I'm starting to think that Goddard is best started in the mids.

Gibbs defense, Chappy and Dids forwards though IMO

Fletch74

I agree with Ossie, although I might put Goddard in defense. Haven't finallised that one yet

DT Junkie

See this is where im confused....

If you start chappy and dids in the fwd line who do you intend to swap them with in the mid?

Same would apply for gibbs and goddard one of them would have to start in the mid or the whole MPP thing is useless....

Fletch74

There are plenty of other players that can be swapped with those players.

The likes of Delidio (DEF) Pavlich (FWD) Goodes (FWD) Gilbee (DEF) or if you play your cards right you use your rookies from the midfield like Heppel, Prestia, X Clarke etc.

what's the benefit of goddard playing in the mids? i think it depends where the abundant opportunities lie.

LF

i like goddard down back simply because it`s like having an extra midfielder in your team.

DT87

I don't think you should start any MPP premiums in the midfield. Instead you should put two MPP cheapies on the mid bench. IMO MPP is wasteful if there are no bench MPP players involved.

Normally I'd agree, but this year all the other super-premium mids have bye issues. Plus there are a few decent options down back. So Godz for midfield for me

Peronally i see no need to out players like goddard,Chappy in the midfeild if u have players on bench like heppel, smith, mzungu

dt 87 makes a good point but your midfield bench is your main cash cow area. this is where you pick the best of the rookies that will earn you the most. that is very high on list of priorities. picking them because they are mpp is not the way to go.
in everybodies teams they will invariably pick some defenders and forwards that can also play mid as they are the high scorers. if you want to utilise the MPP my suggestion is to maybe play one FOR/MID in your midfield and one DEF/MID in your midfield so if any of your premiums in the forward or backlines go down you can bring that midfielder in to replace them and a player from your midfield bench onto the ground as bench players in the MID line always score higher than benchies in the forward or back.
