I had him last year, but only in DT. Honestly I think he isn't worth it, his inconsistency can be painfully frustrating, and besides, there are much better options for around that price range: ROK, Sylvia, Corey, Lewis, Power etc.

He is having a good pre-season every season but he seems to struggle to perform consistently in matches. He is one of those guys I will never touch.

I had Wells last season, and he was very good value at $361k, and performed well until about mid season when he had a relapse of his groin problems.  He made me a bit of cash,and i traded him as soon as he got injured to joey montagna, and the changeover from memory was less than $100k, so it worked out alright. 

When wells came back he struggled a bit to get the scores he was getting earlier in the season.  I've found when he's 100% fit he performs well (if you look at his stats last year from R3 onwards he scored 114 plus for 4 weeks running)   But when his injury flares his scores can drop dramatically, which occurred for wells mid season, but he again scored 99 plus in the last 5 games of the season.

I have Wells on my radar, but ATM I have Sylvia and ROK in front of him.
