Franklin or Didak for my 1st fwd spot?

When choosing a pole position premium it should be strongly considered at what strength will your WHOLE side be when the pole position player has the bye.
Franklin has the bye in rnd6, the same round as Geelong and Fremantle. Missing him in rnd6, however good your bench and MPP is, will also mean (with the likelihood of players in your team from Geelong and Freo) that there is a further stretch for any clever use of MPP - points will suffer.
Didak has byes in rnd7/13 - much easier to cover.

Having said that, I have Buddy because he owes me  ;) and I love watching him play. Didaks pectoral? issues may see him start slowly and warm into the season.

i have richardson, isaac smith and callinan in the bench with the possibility of mzungu (mpp in my mids) to cover as well

Isaac Smith is a Hawk and Mzungu is from Freo and will be useless as coverage if you choose Buddy.
This means you rely on Richardson or Callinan to cover your pole position premium  :-\

I'd choose Didak  ;)

I'd go with Buddy. Even though I'm a Collingwood supporter and love dids.

His injuries are a problem, plus in such a great side I don't think that he will score as freely as previously.

Buddy all the way.

didak was injured preseason apparently
buddy definitely

Buddy hasnt had a great 2 years and still scored well so this year if he gets close to 100 goals again is a lock, Didak yeah niggly injuries concern me i'm watching him atm
