Dees for the Draft

With the recent pattern of premium rucks tearing it up against sides with a weak ruck division, and the need to replace Ottens and Hille (I have Ottens and was very close to trading him for Hille this week, only leaving it another week with the hope of getting Hille cheaper next week) I've had a look at the fixtures for the "premium" rucks.

For the purposes of analysing the remaining fixtures, I've considered the following rucks as premiums:

Cox, Fraser, Jolly, H Mac/Petrie, Brogan, Ottens

These ruckmen are the highest averaging ruckmen so far.

I'm assuming the following sides will result in higher than average ruck scores.

Hawthorn, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Essendon

Looking at the remaining matches against weak teams for the year, and the teams faced in the last four rounds, the "premium" rucks are as follows:

Collingwood - 4 matches against easy teams remaining, finals of ADE, RIC, SYD, WBD
Geelong - 5 matches, finals of CAR, SYD, WBD, FRE
Nth Melb - 5 matches, finals of MEL, WCE, STK, P.A.
St Kilda - 7 matches, finals of HAW, ESS, NTH, MEL
Sydney - 6 matches, finals of RIC, GEE, COL, BRI

What do people think of this theory?

Well Hille is injured so I wouldnt be getting him

I would get Cox if you have the money, but if dont McIntosh for sure

Im Spewing cause I have H-Mac and Hille... with Hille gone I think Brogan or Sandilands for a straight swap if I has the cash would definitely go cox

I had Hille - and no emergency listed, so zero score for me :(

I'm SO pissed off that Hille's price dropped because of his injury, and he even scored a zero. However, I'm going to trade in Kozzie, because I don't have the cash for anyone higher.

I thinking of slotting in one of my emergencies - even though theyre entirely rubbish and might not even play - and then after next round (6), trade in Koz. His price will drop again because of round 4.

Just hope he stays fit! As a ruck/forward, he should have some nice scores - and playing for Saints doesnt hurt, in their form.

Ottens is out for another month still - so forget him, unless you wanna wait.

Is Brogan any good, really?

Whu r ur emergs rubbish....that sound like bad planning...

At the moment I have Hille & Sandilands.
My thinking at the moment:

I am considering downgrading Hille to someone around the 200K, maybe Bellechambers as he will now be the bombers #1 ruck. (Need to find out when Laycock is back though). Then with that money left over I will either upgrade Skipworth to a premium OR upgrade Sandilands to Cox.

So my ruckmen for next week will look something like this:
1) Sandilands & Bellechambers???
2) Cox & Bellechambers???

Although I'm leaning to the option of upgrading Skippy as I am confident Big Sandi will get his average back over 90.

My emergencies are Jacobs and Spencer - sigh, didnt even play this round. And I didnt pick one of them as emergency - seriously, who picks ruck emergencies? Sigh.
