Ok, here is my first look at a team since it opened, looking for some feedback on the field players, not caring too much about rookies at the moment as that will change on who is getting games and what not.

Backs:

Brian Lake - Racks up the possessions and gets a lot of marks.

Bryce Gibbs (MID) - Runs off half back and fills the hole. MID/BAC MPP is good too.

Brett Deledio (MID) - Runs off half back and fills the hole. MID/BAC MPP is good too.

Greg Broughton - 3rd Year and has done really well in both previous years. Fremantle not having a bye during the normal season is also good.

Sam Gilbert (FWD) - Rumours flowing that he will be playing up forward more this season which is backed up by the FWD/BAC MPP.

Andy Otten - Coming back from injury and has potential to be a good cash cow in a young Crows backline.

Rookies:

Josh Toy - Heard good things about this kid.

Andrew Hooper - Made his debut during the finals last year.

Ben Jacobs - MID/BAC MPP and a possession machine reportedly.

Jacob Brennan - At the Eagles so could get a lot of games

Midfield:

Brendon Goddard (BAC) - Will be in every good team.

Dane Swan - Will be in every good team.

Kieran Jack - This spot is debatable, but Jack seems to be coming of age and is winning is own ball now.

Andrew Krakouer (FWD) - If he gets games, could be a good cash cow.

Rookies:

David Swallow - Number one draft pick and good year in the VFL.

Sam Iles - Best and fairest for the Gold Coast.

Tendai Mzungu (FWD) - Mature age rookie from the WAFL.

Tom Liberatore - Tony's son drafted under father/son rule. Good prospect.

Josh Green - With so many leaving Brisbane, could possibly get a few games.

Rucks:

Aaron Sandilands - Rumours are he will miss some of the start of the season, if so, I may change him to Seaby or another cheap ruck and upgrade to him.

Darren Jolly - Cheap for what he can do. This spot could be any of: Shane Mumford, Dean Cox or Mark Jamar depending on who does well pre-season.

Rookies:

Zac Smith - Will be in a lot of teams.

Ayce Cordy - This will be the cheapest rookie who will play.

Forwards:

Nick Riewoldt - Started off killing it before a hamstring injury and came back and did well but is cheaper than he is worth, will be in most teams.

Matthew Pavlich (MID) - Fremantle have no byes in the season and is one of the best options for a MID/FWD MPP.

Brad Green - Very consistent year and is now the captain of a young team.

Cyril Rioli - Started off slow and then got better. Very much an X-Factor player and should get more midfield time.

Ricky Petterd - Started off well before dislocating his shoulder. MPP for MID/FWD is also good.

Drew Petrie - Had his first injury interupted season so is very cheap. If he stays on the field he could be a good cash cow or even keeper as he has proven to be in the past.

Rookies:

Daniel Talia - Supposedly going to get games this year and is FWD/BAC MPP.

Cameron Richardson - Mature age rookie who will be definitely getting games.

Brandon Matera - Had a good year in the VFL this year.

Jack Darling - Was originally a top 5 pick but because of his erratic nature he slipped down the draft and is now cheaper.

So that is my team, willing to listen to all comments. Thanks in advance!

hey benjy is back!  ;D

Lake had recent inj issues for you to keep an eye on.
also someone just posted today from Port website that Jacobs has just come down with glanduar fever and probably miss NAB Cup.
otherwise all looks solid.

guessing your upgrade targets are GAJ, Hodge, Chappy etc

overall ranking if you're at all inclined - Rd5 fwd-line will have Green and Petterd out with no bench cover from Darling so your other 2 benchies will need to play with no other outs to avoid a doughnut.

cheers!

Yeah, will keep an eye on Lake and I am only going for league win. And the guys you mentioned are upgrade targets.
