Hey guys,

Wondering if I could get some opinions on whether or not this backline is too weak or not...

Goddard, gibbs, deledio, bock, otten, heppel, jacobs

I could downgrade a mid prem to foley and upgrade otten...thoughts?

thanks

kazam

Similar to mine in Goddard, Deledio, Otten and Heppell (I have Gibbs in Mid)... If you do the foley thing, maybe upgrade Jacobs; I don't know heaps about him so cant say too much. But I do know the talent that Otten has.

Jugganauts

Don't upgrade Jacobs Port need a player like Jacobs right now so they should play him from round 1
Watch the NAB cup to see if Bock is giving the freedom down back as Croad will take the CHB roll, Bock could be used similair to a Nick Maxwell roll or Luke Hodge roll

Lol exactly like mine at one point...
Nah it isnt but be wary of the hep/jacobs if they for some reason dont break in.
However its a good backline, a bit of risk and i love it.

Pretty solid starting line up.  Who are your bench players?  I think you'll need to follow otten, heppell and jacobs through the preseason to get a guage as to whether they'll get games early this year.  Having said that it's unique and a good balance of premiums and potential cash cows.

Thanks fellas, feeling a bit more comfortable now...it's just more of a risk because now because there aren't many decent def rookies since mzungu, richardson and isles have been moved.

Atm my bench is toy, duigan and cripps...cripps is likely to change but since st.kilda are in a bit of strife he might find his way in!

Heppell should be in the 22, i'm just worried for round 1 because i'll be playing 3 rookies in the backs. I've got like 60k in the kitty so might have to trade out bock, we'll see.

thanks guys
