Bad luck young kid. Hopefully things fall into place and he can make a comeback towards the end of the year.

Thank Eddie we've got Tarrant now. Bring back Presti :(

Such bad news, this is why back to back is always difficult. Random things happen.

I agree Ossie, Tarrant as a recruit is looking like the perfect decision as this unfolds.

Folks,

Harsh call perhaps, but I would like to have seen Brown go the ‘LARS’ option. Going the full 12 month rehab does NOTHING for the club...harsh call perhaps? Yes. Treating him like a piece of meat? Yes

3 months out would have had him back in time for the second half of the year....

Yes he might be only 22, and yes the long term effects of the LARS procedure is still unknown, but our Premiership window is open NOW. What’s the point of him being out for a full 12 months if it means his career is extended by 2 or 3 years. It’s quite possible that  WE’D BE AN ORDINARY TEAM FOR THOSE FINAL 2 OR 3 YEARS!

I say 3 go the LARS procedure and get another Premiership medal around your neck.

It was always going to be a struggle fitting Reid, Brown and Tarrant in the same team, so we're not at desperate stages yet. I don't really see the benefit of risking Brown. If one of Reid or Taz go down, things get interesting, but we could put Leroy at CHB and try to get games into S Reid or Keefe. Not desperate yet.
