Hey all, any thoughts on my SC 2011 side at all, this is my first draft for the yr and im open to all suggestions/improvements - I'll rate your team in return.

Ok on a serious note you need to look at where u can make your money to structure your team. Overall in my team I have only 2 rookies starting with 14 keepers

Dont have goddard in centre, should always be back i understand u r taking advantage of MPP but seriously u r wasting a premium spot in midfield which will be filled with an average player in backline and move harris onto field. Will free up cash and maybe upgrade a forward

Not sure about Selwood as he will get a heavy tag now. Opostion teams will look at him, bartel and chapman, would prefer to use as an upgrade and see how he performs

Lastly get rid of hale. Way way to much spent on rucks. You have ample cover with smith maybe go for a basement like charman and use money to upgrade higgins or krakeor

Harris is good enough to be starting

cheers for the advice rollsroyce, idealy id like to have more keepers but ill hafta work up to that i think.

goodard will be moved back, you've got a good point there (Y)

as for selwood that could be a good or bad thing, he seems to be a gun at winning free kics from hard ball gets to.. so it could also be benficial i guess time will tell on that one.

the only reason i really have hale in the ruck section is to interchange with petrie, i considered hale being up forward for the hawks could do alright so i just wanted to see how he went n for the MMP as well.

and harris will be a starter to, the fan planner just had gaff on field insted of on the bench

I don't necessarily agree with Goddard being a MUST backman.
If there were no byes to counter for then yes definetly a back.
But having Goddard in the mids allows you to consider backs like Gilbert, Gilbee and Drummond.

The alternative arguement is that Goddard in the backs allows you to have a look at higher mid premiums like Montagna, Hayes, NDS, Cross & Boyd.

It's a question of how you structure your side I guess.
