I really thought Gia would've got it as he seems to be the stronger on field voice. My only concern with Boyd is similar to the result at the Power when they appointed Wanganeen as Captain, great player but with a quiet voice wasn't able to lead with direction and often had to rely on actions to speak louder than words. These actions become harder to perform as you get older and at 28 he will need to show voice true and strong to lead succesfully.

Age isn't on his side but should still be good for another 2-3 seasons before he hands it over to a mid 20's player.
