Thoughts???

mophead222

not a bad backline, although i rekon if your gunna start a back rookie, maybe it should be ben jacobs or dyson heppell :) -.5

mids i dont like hodge as i think he isnt worth the price tag as he isnt MPP this year, i dont think joel corey is a good pick either, houli i dont think will go very well this year either, i rekon downgrade corey and houli to gaff and heppell which gives you mpp to your backline and saves a lot of money to upgrade other players. -1

standard rucks, although will joel tippett get games this year? max bailey is a good option :)

all good, but if you do this mid trades i suggest, then you can upgrade petterd to rioli or franklin. also daw should swap to mcdonald from melb, (he is more likley to get games with same MPP) -.5

8/10 nice :)

can yuou rate my team?

yea i agreee with most of what mophead said.
iles could be a good pickup mature age players have a history of doing better than draftpicks.
Id trade one of ur gun mids for a younger prem like murphy, pendles, swallow, jack etc.
Nice forwards maybe consider Mzungu in ur bottom 4 somewhere.
Overall decent 8.5/10

Don't know much about Batchelor ?
Not keen on Judd, he has the bye late in the year (finals time). 2 GC players on bench in midfield not ideal.
Corey a bit risky re his recent injury concerns. Houli may end up being a good pick it remains to be seen ?
2 Gold coast players on your bench in the fwd line not ideal.
At a quick glance, no MPP b/w mid back/fwd (correct me if i'm wrong).

mophead pretty much summed it up with the midfield and not sure about joel tippett either

Don't like Corey as an option.  Another year older, starting to get injury prone and will cop a higher tag with no Ablett.

Try to get one or two more premiums in there, downgrade a midpricer or two to get the money.

Well Ive taken on some you guys advice and came up with:

DEF: B. Goddard, B. Deledio, C. Enright, N. Malceski, J. Adcock, A. Otten, J. Batchelor (P. Faulks, S. Iles, B. Harvey)

MID: D. Swan, C. Judd, L. Montagna, M. Boyd, B. Houli, D. Swallow (D. Stanley, L. Parker, I. Callinan)

RUC: A. Sandilands, D. Petrie (Z. Smith, M. Daw)

FWD: N. Riewoldt, A. Didak, M. Pavlich, R. O'Keefe, R. Petterd, C. Knights, I. Smith (T. McDonald, T. Mzungu, L. Casboult)

CASH LEFT: $6,300

The only ones im not sure of are, Didak (keeping an eye on his recovery and rest of his preseason), Petterd (same as didak), some bench choices (gonna wait till round 1 teams are named....

Solid team.

A couple too many midpricers and not enough premiums for my liking though.

You can manage with fewer premiums this year though due to the higher number of trades.  You need to be careful with trades if you do though.

nice team not too generic
