Nominations for the best ever Hawk

This is following on with Junky`s Adelaide version. You can nominate any Hawthorn player who has played but you must have a short and sharp reasoning behind your nomination.
The first 8 to be nominated will go through to the voting stage.

on my fone so cant get stats but this guy was amazing and kickd alot of goals jason dunstall ...i also nomiate shane crawford he dominated from the late 90s to the lateish 2000

The Hawthorn poll should be very close with 3 deserving nominations so far.

Leigh Matthews has to win in my opinion, however there are some other greats that need to be up there.

John Kennedy Sr. (Jr was pretty good too!)
Michael Tuck (426 games!!)
Gary Ayres
Dermott Brereton
Chris Langford

Peter Knights
Peter Hudson (727 goals in only 129 games)

Never have I been more happy to see an opposition player win a GF :)

The run he did fom Adelaide to Melbourne to raise Breast Cancer awareness was something only the 'special' amongst us would do.

+ he's a funny prick ;)
