Summary:

Premiership Player Nathan Brown, a top 10 draft pick, found himself lucky to be in the Grand Final sides after the selflessness of Simon Prestigiacomo. Brown would go onto have two great games against superstar Nick Riewoldt, and is now etched in Magpie folklore.

A Rising Star nominee in 2008, Brown struggle in 2009 and the early part of 2010 while Presti held down the fort. His late season form was outstanding though, even scoring a century in supercoach!

Although he is improving in Supercoach terms, he has never set the world on fire.

The Crystal Ball:

Based on last year's magic number
Price: $327,500 and $294,800 (10% discount)

Based on m0nty's fanplanner
Price: $311,800

Position: DEF

Now comes into 2011 much more high-profile than before, and maybe scrutinised. Presti is gone, but Tarrant is back so competition for the two kpb is strong between Brown, Ben Reid and Tarrant.

Price is very awkward :/

Decision:

Fantasy wise? A big no.

nas

Presti gone / Tarrant back. 1 for 1. Reckon he may struggle to get / string a few games together.IMO

Doing all of the Colingwood boys, Ossie?

Really can't see him playing many games. As said before, Tarrant and Reid are ahead of him right now.

Not a chance I'm afraid....plays too much like Presti (ie opponent doesn't get a kick, but neither does he!)

Love the way he towelled up Saint Nick in the 2 GF's though..... ;D

I may actually go with Heater as he fits into a good bye strategy
