The 28 points a round you may miss out on until he's upgraded may be balanced by the extra 28 you get from the two better mid performing consistent types you can now afford instead of one gun (God) and a rookie who scores you spuddish points.
Then when you have God in your side, you still have the better performing consistent type and not the rookie who may or may not have played or appreciated in value.

yeah i agree, something ive been considering is that if i work out the extra ppg i get from playing a guy with a bad bye, and the points i lose when i bring in my cover, if the extra ppg minus the diff is positive i will pick the player. Or am i crazy?
