Seems like Lewis strained his Calf. Of all the injuries for a Hawk to get though this is probably the least serious. If this is the only injury we get this pre-season we will be well above par!

Knowall

Calf strain surely cant be serious so probally just undesired interuption to his preseason.

Hawka

he should be ready for round 1  :)

Calf inury, what a cow!  :P

It doesn't say whether it's his right or preferred left leg, anyone know? Even a minor tissue issue at the top of his calf will restrict his normally excellent accuracy and peneration if it is on his preferred side.
It is an injury that can be played with successfully (GAJ, Carey) but always hangs as a constant 'what if it gets worse?' as the player can't help but over extend and risk more damage.

Surely since he doesn't have to play for quite some time it can fully heal. I know often even small muscular injuries like this can leave scar tissue but given that they have time surely any risks of this effecting him can be effectively mitigated.
