Summary:

Did Adams play well because Anthony wasn't in the side? Adams is a very inside player, similar to the like of Daniel Cross. Has good leadership skills (Captained Vic Metro U18) as well. Came 4th in the 2010 B&F.

Last year was his first real full season after being recruited in the 2006 draft after suffering a knee injury in 2008.

The Crystal Ball:

Based on last year's magic number
Price: $452,900

Based on m0nty's fanplanner
Price: $431,200

Position: MID

Good unique midfielder who might slip under all other teams radar's. Has the potential to be a key player with the Roos.

Decision:

Adams has always been a player I've had an eye on, as he is unique (only 1,379 selections at end of year) and knows how to find the footy.

He will be a player who will be on my short list, but it depends on how the Roos play in the pre-season and how he fits into the side with Swallow and Anthony both playing as well.

I believe that Scott likes him due to his leadership aspect as well, thus he should play the majority of the season, it's just how he fits in with Anthony coming back...

I love this left-field selections :)

Having said that, probably not. It is really hard to pick that North Melbourne midfield, with it developing so much. Unlikely I reckon. Wouldn't begrudge anyone picking him though!

not this year, if i get any roo it will be anthony or swallow, 2012 maybe

ronl

I really like this kid, but current mids are Swan, Hodge, Goodes, Anthony, Foley +4 rookies.   As with Benjy, Anthony and Swallow take precedence at North.

Maca24

agree with ronl. cant fit him in. I like the kid though. i tend to go for only premiums and cheapies in my mids.

Bosh

See how he starts the year, but unlikely maybe the year after

Hawka

yer probaly  not will already have  liam probaly

Fletch74

Yeah, but reading the article, it doesn't look too serious and won't prevent him from lining up in Rd 1

Torress

agree agree agree - like him but too much $$. at that price he really is a keeper and i don't think he really is that esp within the midfield. and i want swallow for 2011, not a fan of having 2 blokes from the same team in the same position

Junktimer

reckon he has good potential, but anthony and swallow are much better options from the roo boys.

unlikely.
