LewisR

the coloured numbers are the league byes.

Justin Bieber

Check the minor log change thread in the feedback section. M0nty said he added them in so it's convenient to know which players have byes and when.

Round 4 â€" Brisbane, St. Kilda, Western Bulldogs
Round 5 â€" Melbourne, Sydney, West Coast
Round 6 â€" Fremantle, Geelong, Hawthorn
Round 16 â€" Adelaide, Fremantle, Melbourne
Round 19- Brisbane, Richmond, Sydney

These are the rounds where you have 3 byes for the round.  Round 6 is the killer (IMO)

for overall ranking - do you guys think it'll be a case of having the most even spread of players from different teams (eg with 22 on the field, 1 player from 15 teams and 2 players from 5 team) while balancing other considerations such as premiums, rookies, benches, league byes, etc etc??

hold up i thought those rounds in dt are byes for everyone hence the season starting earlier

Byes from League competition, overall still accumulates  ;)

A bit like the first three rounds of any previous season where we accumulate from rnd 1 then play for league points from rnd 4. Then because we have two extra rounds this year.
3 first + 2 extra = 5 byes required for league competition of 16 teams to remain the same structure.

So if your going for overall, then you'd perhaps try a spread of what j959 is on about.

I didn't get any bites to my query McRooster.  :(
I'm guessing most will say you either go for league win or overall score and have different/separate teams depending which goal you have??
