Hawks a bit unlucky with 5 interstate matches (strictly speaking 9 but Aurora doesn't count) and playing Geelong twice so close together (in rounds 5 and 12).

Looking at the draw, and apart from a very tough last 4 rounds, I will admit Collingwood has an exceptionally easy draw.

For starters, we don't play anyone who finished higher than us this year! No else can say that. Must be the easiest

Hawks tough run?

I must have been looking at something else, because I saw they only play one team from the 2010 finals in the first 7 rounds!!!! A gift start.

Which means a high density of top 8 teams in the remaining part of the season..... You play everyone at some stage. It is who you play twice and we play 3 in the top 8 twice and 3 in the bottom 8 twice so it is fairly balanced.

It isn't a horrible draw for the Hawks, but we play interstate 5 times which isn't great, which includes two matches at AAMI which is our bogey ground. However our guaranteed 4 away MCG matches as part of the Tassie deal is always nice.
