OK guys, here is 1st attempt.

Defence
Deledio c/b, Broughton, Hargrave, S. Selwood, Adcock, Houli b/c, Otten
Richardson, Mzungu, Iles

Mids
Swan, Goddard c/b, J. Selwood, Anthony, Shuey, Foley
Swallow, Krakour, McNeil f/c

Rucks
Sandilands, Natanui
Lobbe r/f, Charman

Forwards
Thomas, Riewoldt, Brown, Knights, Wilson, Pettard f/c, Petrie r/f
Lamb, Matera, Hooper

I think there is so much value next year in players that a well priced but will play 24 games.
The reason I have gone for these sort of guys is that with rookies you can't always be garaunteed they will play all the games.  With the bye if you have as many players as possible garaunteed of playing you will need less trades to cover byes and therefore more trades to upgrade :)

That's my theory anyway!!!

i dont like hargrave, scooter selwood, shuey, nic nat is still too raw to be consistant. prolly better to have petrie as 2nd ruck. and who is wilson. just a few question marks on those few. otherwise looks good

Yeah Hargrave I'm not sure on.  Finding my higher priced defenders hard to choose!!!

Shuey should (if he stays fit) push on to avg. 80-90 next year, same for Scott Selwood.  Scooter in particular showed something late last year that reminded me of Swan.  Not saying he is about to avg. 120, but he was in the right spot to get the ball a fair bit.

Have some spare cash so will probably upgrade my third ruck to someone like Seaby.  The idea is that depending on byes and opposition I can swap Nicnat and Seaby.  This is Nicnat's 3rd season and I have a feeling he could step up.

Wilson is WCE's FF.  He was upgraded off the rookie list and with Lynch out of favour and McKinley gone he is a given for starting FF.  He averaged 75 in his 3 games last year and with an improving WC midfield I can see no reason why he couldn't turn that inot a season average.

I know, I know, classic WC supporter, but they will be an improving team next year and it's what I know!!!

I like seaby he is only 200k and can really turn on a game would be a ideal reserve along side petrie...

Seaby can really turn on a game...
ummm no he cant
he had a 120 one game last year
Seaby can kick goals but hes just not good enuf I dont think
doesnt get many touches around the ground as a DT ruckman
at $200k ur wasting ur money

Wilson also did surprisingly weel in the 2km time trials Woosha has just set the boys for their first preseason runs. came 5th to Mastern, Dalziell, Shuey and Scooter. Not bad considering hes gorilla sized

Yeah not sold on him either but need another starting 22 ruckman to cover byes and don't see many cheap rucks that will play plenty of games.

Zac Smith will be popular but with the new sub rule will Fraser get the nod over him??

Could put Petrie in the rucks and Lobbe on the fwd bench but again not sure how much of an opportunity he will get unless Port suffer a few injuries.

i think also Port are going to target Scott Lycett or Daniel Gorringe in the draft (both big, mobile SA ruckmen) if any of them slip through the GCs grasp
so Lobbe could be even more out of favour by Port
