Summary:

Jordan Lewis. You want someone you consistently averages around 90? Lewis is your man. 2010 was no different, his averages since he started playing in 2005 are:

2005: 62.0
2006: 74.5
2007: 93.6
2008: 80.3
2009: 91.8
2010: 88.4

Hardly setting the world on fire. Lewis can score huge - as evident by his 26 touch, 11 mark, 5 tackle, 4 goal score of 170 in round 16 - but even then he followed it up with a 8 touch, 1 tackle score of 24 (was he injured that match?).

Still young however, at 25, there is still time for a break-out year.

The Crystal Ball:

Based on last year's magic number
Price: $469,800

Based on m0nty's fanplanner
Price: $447,300

Position: MID

More of the same would be my guess from Lewis. With Hodge, Mitchell, Burgoyne, Sewell being the Hawks midfield stars, it is hard to see Lewis dominating.

Decision:

Nope. For a few thousand cheaper you could get Colin Sylvia, Joel Corey, Luke Power, Steele Sidebottom, Aaron Davey.... All of which I'd tip to score more than Lewis.

Hmmm, no for me. Had a look at doing him yesterday, but he didn't excite me enough.

Good write up Ossie, but he's not going to set the world on fire for me because there are others before him.

As you say, there are plenty of others before him for roughly the same price.

hawk_88

Probably wont look at him. Has the potential to go premium but there are safer picks.

thatguy

too many better picks at hawks in front of him... he is more a DT player anyway than SC

Boomz

No from me he's better in DT & some other Hawks ahead of him...

Cruiseon

Not a lot of value to be had here.

With the amount of cheap talent available in the midfield next year there's no place for a mid-pricer with no perceptible upside.

In fact, that goes for my midfield every year

Maca24

no from me cant see him improving a great deal.

Justin Bieber

He is sure consistent with those yearly averages. Too bad that he can't take that step up.

At that price and hasn't shown much to move into premium status, got to be a very unlikely for me. Can't rule anything out yet!!

A pass from me too. Doesn't get me excited at all!
