Darcy Daniher

2009 Stats (didn't play in 2010)
Games: 3
Total Score: 188
Average Score: 62.7
High: 74 (Round 2)
Low: 44 (Round 4)
Standard Deviation: 16.3
Centuries: 0 out of 3
Starting Price: $138,200
High Price: $184,200 (round 4)
Low Price: $138,200 (round 2)

Summary:
Darcy Daniher is a young prodigy, according to Essendon supporters.  Can go forward and back, and can take a good mark.  In terms of SC, he is cheap, that's for certain, but will he get consistent games?

Didn't play a game this year through injury and bad form, but the 21-year-old could give the Essendon faithful something to talk about in 2011.  Could be a wildcard come preseason.

The Crystal Ball:

Based on last year's magic number
Price: $199,800

Based on m0nty's fanplanner
Price: $190,100

Position: FWD/DEF

Decision:
I think Darcy Daniher has a lot of potential as not only an AFL player, but an all important SC player as well.  His MPP as forward and back only adds to it.

Daniher could become an absolute bargain if he can string some games together.  He will be very unique, but will he be worth a punt?

highly unlikely
good talent but too many injuries over the past couple of seasons even if he does play for the price his scores will only be small

Yep. KPP won't help him get into my team either. But with the need for a few more KPP's in the Dons lineup, wouldn't be suprised if Hird decides to play him a little more. Can be played down back to allow Hurley up forward.

My pick though would be Carlisle ahead of him at this stage in the pecking order.

no from me. carlisle, gumby, hurley, ryder, hooker, pears and fletcher are in front of him in terms of KPP.

Boomz

No...  He's sure to get a few games to see what he's got but not enough to be any good.

Cruiseon

He has been the next big thing for so long.

Its a no on my list.
