Just when Richmond were finally getting their act together two senior players' actions could potentially derail them. Connors has obviously been a disruptive influence for several years and was on his last chance but Martin is probably of of the few emerging players at Tigerland who has underperformed this year. Whetehr this is because of attitude or extra opposition attention we'll never know.

Just wondering what people thought of Richmond's actions (harsh/light?) and whether their somewhat outside chances of making the eight have changed at all?

Hopefully will have the opposite effect.  Put the players on notice and let them know that rubbish won't be tolerated.  Hopefully Martin will come back harder and more focused for the experience.

Not a tigers supporter, but would like to see them have some success.

Disappointing :( im as passionate as they come as a tiger fan. Dusty is the type of player who imo will come back better and more mature after being faced with this adversity :) we have missed axel foleys legspeed the last few weeks and with this distraction im sure dimma will get the boys up for a big win against the Dees!

It's convenient that Martin's ban covers Melbourne & the Suns. The loss to Freo i think is the one hurting Richmond, they need to claim some big scalps to get in the 8.

now that vickery is out for the season they need a big forward to step up thats been a big issue for us. grimes out for a month, jackson will open a few doors for the reserves i hope that foley and moore can make a return to cover martin/jackson and grimes. we have got a good draw for the last half of the season we just gotta put some wins on the board.
