North Melbourne speedster Leigh Harding, 29, today announced his retirement from AFL football after 141 matches and 157 goals.

Will miss him, but with our young side we can move on.

haha boomer will be right for a couple for you would think *touch wood*

8-6 Suited

Boomer will keep going for another season or 2 I reckon. He is a consistant performer and hasn't suffered at the hands of injuries like others in the league.

Harding is no massive loss to the Roo's but was a self-less act stepping aside for youngsters in the team.

he had a good 2009, but sadly brad didnt have a place for him in the side.

he did his hamstring in the VFL grand final so yeaah that could of made his decision just a tad easier

roo boys!

Yeah I agree it was selfless to step aside for the youngsters.

Maca24

yea struggled with injuries. was a good player in his prime but lacked consistency over last couple of years..
