How many trades will you probably use before GC's second bye?

I've heard varying opinions regarding trading strategy next year, so I want to know how many trades people think they will be doing before Gold Coast's second bye.

I honestly think I will probably fall into the "more than 8" category. I don't think the byes change the fact that to succeed at Dream Team, you need to upgrade often and upgrade early - there will be plenty of opportunities in the early rounds to upgrade from a player with 2 byes remaining to one with 1 bye remaining. Waiting until players have had their second bye to upgrade to them will leave you with a significantly weaker team come Round 9 than those who have already done a few upgrades.

5-8 More than likely for me although it's hard to tell. Could go more than 8 depending on how many upgrade I choose to do early.

The extra trades will likely be kept for later in the year.

How long is a piece of string?

Serious:>  could be a year of injury free (LTI'S) & just upgrades or disaster again to key players & requires trades.
