couple of players i am not a fan of here:

1. Bock - not sure how he will do up at the coast
2. Houlihan - very average player but priced well

also not sure if you can use mpp a bit better:

1. maybe swap hodge in the mids for one of swan or ablett
2. Put a FWD/MID in the middle somewhere
3. Put a FWD/RUCK up front to help with Petrie

all this taken into account, it is not a bad team though, will need to tweek it a bit with rookies and what not but very solid.

Callan Ward is an expensive benchy.

RobertHarvey35

ward will start on the ground. harris will be bench. i just copied and pasted from the fanplanner. bock will rip it up. quarterback and the ball will be in the backline a bit for the GC

Justin Bieber

Looks solid.

Don't mind Bock. If his body is right, can rack it up off half back. Will be leading the young defence so should be pretty confident next year. Nice cheapies in there. But 3 Suns players for the bench is worrying. Maybe look to replace at least 1.

Alot of faith in Vince. Hopefully he can regain 09 form after the Vets retired. Like the pick of Foley and Ward. Love the way they play and should go up a bit :). Houlihan a smokie 8).

Rucks and forwards solid. Just questions over Tommy Walsh at the Saints and Mitch Morton. Walsh is regarded highly but will he get games in the Saints during their premiership window? Morton will be good if he keeps playing in the midfield.

RobertHarvey35

yeah i am worried about the 3 back benchies all GC. but that will change post draft and nab cup. toy is a gun. and will be the only one left come the real season.  i think with the bye coming in that dual position flexiblity is gunna be crucial. so here is some changes.

i like it mate, gaj's scoring output may be effected due to less protection up at GC. who is walsh? hunt will be at GC for publicity alone and i dont see him setting the world on fire. max rooke is a dt spud :P

RobertHarvey35

my bench players will change. i dont like hunt either. tommy walsh is the best irish player to come to aus. hes been elevated to saints primary list for next yr and is basement price. but bench players will change after the draft and nab cup. max rooke is gunna score better than a first gamer, he will be a nice cash cow at 150k

elephants

okay i see you points good work mate :)

Questions over these players RobertHarvey35.

Houlihan?
M.Morton?
Bock? I`d swap for Drummond/Hurn.

RobertHarvey35

houlihan is a gun and only 200k after missing whole season with injuries.
bock is way underpriced at 330k and the ball will be in the GC defensive half a bit i would reckon. drummond and hurn??? this isnt supercoach.
Morten. hes 330k and has moved into the midfield. no more cousins either. he is a kicker too. have a look at his scores say for the last month of 2010 season when he was playing midfield. everyone knows that midfielders that are listed as fwds in dt are gold. rok, pav, chappy to name a few

RobertHarvey35

mitch morten rounds 1-4, 6 and 11 played as a fwd highest score of 69. he told hardwick he wanted to become a midfielder. went to vfl to play midfield and develop as a midfielder and returned to afl round 17 through 22 scored 97,97,104,71 and 124. the 71 against the saints and the rest vs the pies, port, adelaide crows, melb carlton. watch nab cup and see his role. but get on

DazBurg

only problem with tommy walsh is at the start of 2010
i read on afl.com.au from one of the head talent guys for the afl said he was a great player but couldn't kick to save his life
i know he needs to get use tot he oval ball just wonder if he has enough to warrant selection week in week out

sangers

Just had a question about Xavier Clarke.

You're not too worried about him being injury prone? Hopefully he'll have a good season.

RobertHarvey35

rookies will change. its october
