This just in...

GWS exchange pre-listed players Terry Milera (Port Magpies) and Ahmed Saad (Northern Bullants), plus pick 25, for St Kilda's pick 20.

That is an extraordinary win for St. Kilda.  :o

Ahmed Saad was one of the best players at the draft combine, I'm very surprised that GWS gave him up!

They both have had outstanding seasons too. These are big wins for the Saints.

Who are they going to give up now. They'll have to trade someone.

Agree Well done Saints but how are they going to fit them under Saints Salary Cap although they will be on minimum payments,  Maybe another trade to be done!!!

It's definitely going to be interesting to see who the Saints 'push out' due to these salary cap issues.

At the draft combine last week, Ahmed Saad was 1st in the 20m sprint and the 30m repeat sprint, 2nd in the agility run and equal 8th in the standing vertical jump.

Thats got 'gun' written all over it.

Just saw this when I checked to see how trade week was going...
I can't believe GWS did that :o

I was certain GWS were going to recruit Saad and keep him for themselves...not offload him!!

Just remember they have Gubby Allen calling the shots and he is very shrewd as was seen with Brisbane in the late 90's.  GWS now have quite a number of priority picks and are well placed to trade them if need be.

GWS would be happy with it even though it looks like a shower trade for them... They're stocking up on picks. Will be dominant in a few years even if they lose some...
