I was thinking that bartel may no longer be a top 5 dt'er, but his last 2 weeks he has been the best cat by a long way. Is it worht picking him up again or going for players like selwood,pendelbry instead

Depends on price like Q said. We all know he can rack it up as he doesn't cop a tag. Ablett, Selwood and Chappy are ahead of him in the pecking order so he's safe.

Although, If a player like Pendles or Selwood are around his price or even cheaper, I would get them. More room to improve their scores compared to him.

Discount Jimmy at your peril guys!  Sure his number towards the end of the season havent been great, but remember his elbow has been a major issue and continues to play with it heavily bandaged ..

its a tough chice between him and selwood, cant wait for west sydeny to enter so can get both again

It seems to me like he plays in overdrive for the big, important games, but downshifts to 2nd or 3rd for ordinary home and away.  I want players that are going 120% every week, not so sure Jimmy wants to do that anymore.

He may get the occasional tag if he starts destroying the opposition but most teams tag Selwood and Ablett. The cats have a lot of game breakers, it's hard to choose which players to try and shut down.
