MCC Question regarding Reserved Seats

Anyone know whether if an MCC Member buys a reserved seat, could another MCC member use it? Or are the tickets linked to the Members card?

The dilemma i have is we all want to book reserved seats together but my mate has left his card at home so he doesn't know his member number, so i figured to get in early i could just book his reserved seat using my old man's member number.
