He has had a great season for a team providing a disappointing season. With all the "Great" footballers of the adelaide crows gone, someone had to stand up in my mind, Douglas has risen the most.

Most likely, but i think Adelaide have played a season where if a player got a kick, they deserved Best & Fairest. With all the Champs gone, himself and others have alot more room to show what they are made of, such as Sloane.
