With today's appointment of Shane O'Bree as an Assistant Coach, to acompany Dean Soloman who joined a month back, I'm starting to doubt our coaching abilities. Sure, both players have enough experience to fulfil the position, but coming straight from the field to the Coaches box seems a bit odd, especially for a club just starting out.

Who knows, it could prove a successful system in a few years but I'm not convinced.  :-\

yeah, as you said with a new club, you would think they would get an experienced coach and maybe take a magpies/swans approach to it with an apprenticeship type thing

Master Q

I'm not convinced either.

Take Knights? Ratten?  :P

We could change our name to Gold Coast Rats, with Ratten being our mascot. :P

I can think of some insults for Suns..Sun of a...
Yeah not much experience (any) in that coaching staff and doesn't help when McKenna is breaking legs.

i think in a few years it will be successful and there will be enough talent on the list to keep you relatively successful until then.
You should get Fev ;)

Solomon's a premiership player, and O'Bree has been in Collingwood's leadership group for years. I'd be happy enough with that

Hinkley is there is he not?

Been @ Geelong prior to going to the Suns.

Solomon has actually been in a coaching role with Freo this year.
