James Milner has completed his move to Manchester City for around$44million aussie dollars

HP i'm sorry for your loss!

Loss? You mean gain. This is an absolutely fantastic deal for Aston Villa. 16-18m PLUS Ireland is insane. Ireland is better then Milner in the position that Milner now/used to play in. Which is centrally. Obviously Milner's natural position is outwide and creams Ireland in those but AV has been playing Milner in the centre of the park and if Ireland plays there, he is a lot better then Milner. He is arguably more talented but his attitude is the problem.

It is a loss but has been hot property since his move from Newcastle a few seasons ago. Liked him there and was stoked we signed him when they got relegated.

Happy we got Ireland in :D. Loved him when he had a chance to shine for Man City the season before last and last (before the money pured in). He is an exceptional talent and is still young 8). Hopefully we can use the cash gained to bring in another good player come january and still keep a decent profit.

No way in hell this is a loss for Villa. Best deal Villa could've hoped for.

Could of been better if they threw in another one of their listed players ;). Bellamy would of been good if he wasn't loaned out :P.

Meh, Bells is old news. You could've used RSC. Heskey and Carew are just lolfish now. Seriously, this is an awesome deal for Aston Villa. Most AV fans are pretty much rejoicing.

I have him and I'm guessing he will score better there, so I'm happy  :)

or he wont play at all and just get stuck on the bench...

So many good players there doubt he'll score better there than at Villa. So many midfielders to fight for limited spots.

Look at Barry's numbers from before and after his move as a little indicator ;). Scored a career low after his move to Man City but still respectable overall in the end.
